Mirror takes the tension of the first two books and turns it up a notch. Ema’s story grows more complex here — the shifts between past and present kept me hooked, and I loved how familiar faces from Layers and Circle re-emerge with fresh layers of meaning. The pacing is tight, and the mix of psychological unease and emotional grit makes for a compelling read. A satisfying continuation of the series that leaves me curious for what comes next.
Mirror is gripping from start to finish. The tension builds steadily, pulling you deeper into a story where nothing feels entirely trustworthy. The psychological twists are sharp and well placed, and the sense of unease never lets up. Everything feels controlled and intentional, with a payoff that fully delivers. This is a confident, absorbing thriller that’s hard to put down and easily a five-star read.
Mirror is my favourite Mind Games book so far. Following Ema in this third installment feels more personal and unsettling than before. The story doesn’t rush and lets the tension sit, especially around identity and trust. Some parts are uncomfortable in a good way. Not everything is explained, but that’s what kept me reading. Solid continuation of the series.
